Woman dead after Fatal Bus Crash on the Isle of Wight 25 are injured

Hampshire Police have sadly confirmed that a woman in her 60’s was killed following the collision on Sunday afternoon on Forest Road on the outskirts of the Newport.

The road remains closed as a major incident continues at St Mary’s hospital. An investigation into how the collision happened is being overseen by the Hampshire Constabulary roads dealt team who travels over from the mainland early this afternoon.

 

A spokesman for the Constabulary said that they are investigating a serious road traffic collision on Forest Road in Newport, Isle of Wight, which has resulted in the death of a woman in her 60s.

 

 

 

“The woman was travelling in a Fiat Bravo. Three other people in the vehicle are in a serious condition and have been airlifted to Southampton general hospital

 

A man in his 50’s who was driving the number 7 bus is also said to have sustained a serious injury.
