Police Warn: Football Disorder Will Not Be Tolerated
“The vast majority of those attending football are there to do just that and want no involvement in any disorder. However, there is a small minority who seek to use it as an occasion to commit crime, and we will not tolerate this,” said Chief Inspector Stuart Ratcliffe.
“Our arrests today come after extremely hard work from our officers, and we will keep working to identify and arrest anyone involved in this incident.”
This latest batch follows ten earlier arrests made on the night of the brawl. Those ten remain on conditional bail while the police investigation presses on.
