Police were called to a Winterslow Road address in Camberwell yesterday evening after the London Ambulance Service reported a man found with significant injuries. The 30-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene at 6.39pm on April 22.
66-Year-Old Arrested Over Murder
Officers swiftly arrested a 66-year-old man in Kent the following day, April 23, on suspicion of murder. He remains in custody as the investigation intensifies.
Police Plea for Information
Superintendent Alan Duncan, who leads policing efforts in the area, said: “This is a tragic incident and our thoughts are with the victim’s family and loved ones at this very difficult time. “We have made one arrest and our investigation continues at pace, as we work to establish the full circumstances. We would like to ask anyone with relevant information that could help our investigation to come forward.”
