Woman Fights Off Attack on Prentis Road in Midnight Horror

Just after midnight on Friday, 7 October, a woman was viciously attacked from behind while walking along Prentis Road, SW16. The unknown assailant dragged her to the ground and tried to sexually assault her. Thankfully, she fought back and screamed for help, forcing the attacker to flee.

Suspect Fled Towards Streatham High Road

The thug ran off towards Streatham High Road, heading near St Leonard’s Church. Police are urgently hunting for witnesses or anyone who recognises the man caught in the image released by officers.

Police Plea: Help Identify This Man

Detective Constable Lucy Stone, leading the inquiry, said, “This was a terrifying attack on a young woman. We are working tirelessly to identify the suspect involved.”

“We urgently need to speak to the man in this photograph and believe there must be people who can tell us who he is.”
