Birmingham Man Jailed for Stalking Radio Stars Myleene Klass and Katie Breathwick
A Birmingham man has been convicted of relentless stalking against celebrity radio presenters Myleene Klass and Katie Breathwick. Peter Windsor, 61, bombarded the stars with creepy letters, bizarre gifts, and an imitation firearm over four years.
Unnerving Letters and Threatening Gifts Over Four Years
Windsor’s twisted campaign began in 2020 with a strange note boasting about his pull-up record sent to both Myleene and Katie. Things escalated dangerously in November 2023 when Royal Mail intercepted a parcel addressed to Myleene’s workplace. Inside was a loaded air pistol, instantly raising alarm bells.
The harassment worsened between March and September 2024. The duo received a flood of handwritten letters containing unsettling sexual and religious references, alongside odd and unwanted parcels sent to their London office.
Spiked Running Shoes, Binoculars & ‘Holy Protection’ Ring Delivered
- Katie received a bizarre array of gifts – binoculars, a stamp collection, champagne, and even running shoes with spikes attached.
- On 5 March, Myleene was sent a silver ring with a note calling her a “worth High Priestess” and promising “holy protection.”
- Windsor also posted a bank statement revealing recent cash withdrawals, plus a necklace and a pair of used shoes.
Arrest, Trial, and Guilty Verdict
Police swooped on Windsor on 17 September 2024. During a search, officers found more disturbing items including binoculars, a London journey planner, black gloves, and transport maps.
He was charged with two counts of stalking causing serious alarm and distress just two days later. After a gruelling seven-day trial, Windsor was found guilty on both counts.
The former Mary Road resident is due to be sentenced on 21 November. The judge warned the stalking left the victims “deeply shaken” and highlighted the seriousness of Windsor’s behaviour.
