Surrey Fire Service Wants Your Say in Just 5 Minutes!

Got five minutes? That’s all it takes to shape the future of Surrey Fire and Rescue Service. Residents, workers, visitors, and travellers are urged to share their thoughts on how the fire service performs, how it can improve, and what risks worry you most.

Your Feedback Drives Safety Plans

The quick survey is open to all and aims to gather vital public input for Surrey’s next Community Risk Management Plan. This plan outlines local risks and how the fire service intends to tackle them head-on.

Survey responses will be carefully analysed to craft a service plan that will go out for full public consultation in early 2023. Key findings will be shared widely by the fire service, so your voice really counts.

Fire Chiefs Back Your Voice

“We really would encourage as many people as possible to complete the survey, share their thoughts and support our future planning. It is so important that we hear from as many people, from as broad a spectrum as possible,” said Chief Fire Officer Dan Quin. “We will use the responses to inform our decision making and strategic approach, complementing the significant amount of data which we use to formulate all strategic decisions.”

Denise Turner Stewart, Surrey County Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Communities and Community Safety, added: “This survey provides a unique opportunity for our residents to guide and advise the service on issues important to them locally. It is crucial that the service meets the needs and expectations of the residents who fund it.” “The survey responses will allow them to further understand risks which may be specific to individual communities within our county.”
