London Bridge on Police lockdown following suspected Shooting

London Bridge in total Police locked following what is understood to be have been a shooting incident. Police have closed the bridge in both directions.

There have been reports of gunfire being heard. Police have yet to confirm apart from they are dealing an incident and trying to work out what has gone one.

Officers have been shouting at people to get back as cordon are being put up.

Five people have been hurt  following the incident and one is understood to be be dead

Police were called to a man armed with a knife stabbing people on London Bridge.

Armed police officers neutralised the attacker.

A spokesman for the Met Police said  were called at 1.58pm on Friday, 29 November, to a stabbing at premises near to London Bridge, EC1.

 

Emergency services attended, including officers from the Met and City of London Police.

A number of people have been stabbed. We will provide further details of those injured when possible.

A man has been shot by police at the location.

At this early stage, the circumstances relating to the incident remain unclear. However, as a precaution, we are currently responding to this incident as though it is terrorist-related.
