Child injured during Maidstone collision

Witnesses are being sought to a collision where a child was injured in Maidstone.

The incident took place on Sunday 24 November 2019 at around 4.40pm in Loose Road. A car is reported to have collided with a girl at a set of traffic lights, at the junction with Armstrong Road.

Officers attended the scene along with the South East Coast Ambulance Service where she was taken to a London hospital for treatment.

A 37-year-old man from Maidstone was arrested at the scene on suspicion of dangerous driving. He has been released pending further investigation.

Officers investigating the collision would like to speak to any witnesses who have not yet come forward or anyone with dash cam footage at the time of the incident.
