M2 In Kent closed after vehicle roll over

The M2 motorway has been closed due to an overturned vehicle being involved in a multi vehicle collision . A hard road closure has been put in place at Junction three and junction four whilst emergency services deal with the incident.

The M2 in Kent is currently closed eastbound/coast bound between J3 and J4 due to a multiple vehicle collision. Kent Police are on scene and are coordinating the response to this incident.

If approaching the closures diversions are signed by the solid circle diversion symbol. The route guidance is as follows:

Diverted Traffic will exit the M2 at junction 3 and enter the roundabout complex at Walderslade/Blue bell Hill. It will negotiate this then enter the south bound carriageway of the A229 towards Maidstone where it will exit at the M20 Coast bound junction. From here it will travel eastwards and exit the M20 at junction 7 onto the northbound A249 where it will continue towards the M2 at junction 5 Stockbury where it can resume.
