Murder investigation launched after body found

Police have arrested two people on suspicion of murder after the body of a man was found in Cowgate Cemetery, Albany Place, Dover at 7am on Tuesday, 1 October.

 

The area has been cordoned off and officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are investigating the circumstances.

 

Enquiries are ongoing and police are appealing for information.

 

Detective Inspector Neil Kimber said: ‘We are working to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident and are treating the man’s death as suspicious. I am keen to hear from anyone who may have information that will help us with our investigation.’
