Chatham man arrested in connection with Rochester assault

 

An arrest has been made by detectives investigating a serious assault in Rochester. The incident took place at the Eagle Tavern, in the High Street, shortly before midnight on Saturday 28 September 2019. A man remains in a London hospital in a serious condition.

On the morning of Tuesday 1 October 2019 a 22-year-old man from Chatham was arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent and he remains in custody as enquiries continue.
