Man arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder in Corhampton bailed

A man arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder in connection with the death of a man who was found shot dead in Corhampton has been released on bail.

Police say the 41-year-old man, who comes from Owslebury, has been released on police bail pending further enquiries until August 23rd 2019.

The body of 41-year-old Gurinderjit Rai was found in a car parked in a layby in Shepherds Farm Lane, Corhampton, on the morning of Saturday, July 13th.

Six men have previously been arrested in connection with the death and released on police bail, pending further enquiries.
