A man has been arrested after a man and a woman were fatally stabbed in Whitton.
Police were called to a residential address in Redfern Avenue, Whitton, at 9.40am on Friday, 12 July.
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended. A man, aged in his 60s, and a woman, aged in her 70s, were found fatally stabbed inside the property.
Post-mortem examinations will be held in due course. Formal identification awaits, however officers believe they know the identity of the two victims and their family are being supported by family liaison officers.
Detectives from the Specialist Crime Command are investigating.
A crime scene remains in place. Enquiries continue to establish the full circumstances.
A 31-year-old man was arrested in Slough on suspicion of murder at around 3pm on Friday, 12 July. He is being transferred to a London police station.

“I want to reassure members of the community that this was an isolated incident. Having arrested a man this afternoon, we are not looking for anybody else in connection with the two deaths.
