Fruit shoot’s from McDonald’s and Tesco URGENTLY recalled over choke fears

ROBINSON’S fruit shoots sold at Costco, McDonald’s and Tesco are recalled.

The spout which is inside the bottle cap of the apple and blackcurrant flavour could come off and become a high safety risk, the Food Standards Agency (FSA) has said in a statement.

Britvic the owners of Robinson’s, added that the 200ml drinks are being recalled as a precautionary measure after “a small number of reports”.

The batch of fruit shoots in question were sold in multi-packs of 24 bottles at Costco and Tesco, and the single bottles at McDonald’s between June 22 and 28.

The recall applies to the drinks with batch code numbers of N06 L9171, N05 L9164 and N05 L9171.

They have a best before date of March 2020.

Britvic has said no other fruit shoot products are affected by this problem.
