Investigation launched following armed robbery Reigate

An investigation is underway following an armed robbery at a Reigate supermarket earlier today (22 June).

The suspects, believed to be four men, went to the Morrisons supermarket in Bell Street around 12.40pm and threatened a member of staff before taking a large quantity of spirits.

The suspects then left the store via the emergency exit, pushing people out of the way as they made their escape. They are believed to have driven off in a silver saloon vehicle.

One of the suspects described as black, 32 years, of a slim build with long black hair and wearing a black tracksuit.

The second suspect is described as white, aged in his 20s to 30s with light blonde hair and was wearing a white tee-shirt and blue jeans.

The third suspect is described as white, 40-50 years, 5ft 10 tall, of a large build, with grey hair and was wearing a multi-coloured tee-shirt and jeans.

The fourth suspect is also described as white.

Two men were arrested on suspicion of robbery shortly after the incident and are currently in custody. A search remains underway for the other suspects.
