Three pulled from the water by Harbour Master

Three people have been pulled from the River Medina by Cowes Harbour Master this evening (Sunday)

Coastguard Rescue Teams have responded to the incident at Folly Lane, alongside the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service

The three are understood to have come out of a dingy on the water

Bembridge and Ventnor Coastguard Rescue Teams were called into action shortly before 20:00 following reports that the trio had entered the water and were being rescued by Cowes Harbour Master.

Thankfully, the  three casualties have escaped any injury. They’ve been checked over and given the all clear by the Isle of Wight Ambulance Service, who dispatched an ambulance and officer to the scene at Folly Lane, near East Cowes.
