Man stabbed in South East London

A man has been stabbed overnight in the South East London.

Emergency services rushed to his aid just after 9pm on Saturday evening.

Police and Paramedics were called to Crofton Park station in Brockley near the Coop after reports of the male being stabbed.

A spokesman for the Met said:Police were called at approximately 9.05pm on Saturday, 15 June to reports of a fight outside Crofton Park station in Brockley Road, SE4.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, believed aged in his 20s, suffering a hand and leg injury. He has been taken to hospital for treatment – his condition is not serious.

Enquiries are underway to establish the full circumstances of the incident.

No arrests; enquiries continue.
