Man assaulted after Road Rage attack in High Wycombe

At around 3.20am today (6/6) in West Wycombe Road, at the junction of Desborough Avenue and The Pastures, Police received a report of a man being assaulted in a vehicle.

The victim, a man in his twenties, received medical treatment at Stoke Mandeville Hospital and has since been discharged.

The vehicle he was in, a grey Toyota Aventis, was damaged during the incident.

The offenders are described as Asian men, but it is unclear exactly how many were involved.

Investigating officer Sergeant Paul Reading based at High Wycombe police station said: “We are in the very early stages of this investigation and we are establishing exactly what happened.

“We would like anyone with information about this incident to come forward.

“It happened in the early hours of this morning but it is an area which is relatively busy and we would like anyone with CCTV or dash-cam footage from before, during or after the incident to make contact with us.

“If you recognise the description of the vehicle and think you may have seen it before the incident earlier last night, we would like to speak to you.

“We would also like to take this opportunity to thank the public for their patience this morning as there was disruption around the area of West Wycombe Road to accommodate this investigation.”
