Police are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision involving a lorry and a car on the M3 northbound between junctions 3 to 2.
Police were called around 1:15pm this afternoon (6 June). A woman, who was the passenger in the car, has been airlifted to hospital with potentially serious injuries. The man driving the car has been taken to hospital by ambulance with minor injuries. The lorry driver is assisting police with their enquiries.
Three lanes of the M3 are currently closed northbound from junction 3 to allow the emergency services to do their work. Officers are looking to reopen the road as quickly as possible and there will be some residual delays.
