Thousands turn out to watch 20-minute aerobatics over Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight

The Red Arrows flew over Portsmouth on Wednesday afternoon to mark the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings.  The stunning 20-minute aerobatics display, with the planes leaving a trail of blue, red and white smoke behind them.

The nine aircraft performed a series of impressive tricks and used red smoke to leave the impression of a heart against the backdrop of the sky.
