Pedestrian sadly died following collision on A27 Arundel Road in Walberton

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision on the A27 Arundel Road near its junction with Mill Road, Walberton, in which a pedestrian sadly died.

It happened shortly after midnight on Monday (3 June) when the pedestrian, a man, was in collision with a silver Renault Megane travelling east.

The A27 eastbound was closed for around eight hours between Fontwell and Arundel while police carried out an investigation at the scene.
