Sadly following putting the Isle of Wight on the Map Talent Reggae Singer Derek Sando has not made it through to the live finals of Britain’s Got Talent.
Despite getting four big Yes You are a winner in our eyes. Derek was given the bad news of not being put through to the live stage of the competition on the show that was broadcast this evening that Derek has to keep under wraps.
We don’t quite get it sometimes. We think the judges have made a mistake. with a mass of support from the resident on the Isle of Wight. David Walliams delivered the bad news. One thing he did say was that Derek was too good to be on the show your right there.
The news that Derek had not made it through was sort of out on Saturday afternoon when Derek Twitter account reappeared: leaving the status of Hi everybody, I’m back on Twitter! You can follow me here 😊👍 Yeh man!
Gutted Derek hasn’t revealed if he will reapply but has said that by not getting through gives him time to spend on his new job as the Ambassador, Isle of Wight
Speaking from his Ryde home on Saturday evening Derkek said:Well, well, well what can I say…… A man with a cabbage on his head, a man with a tambourine and a man “farting” with his hands make the live semi-finals! A BIG thank you to everyone for their support, a BIG thank you for the Council’s/tourist board recognition as to how I have raised the Island’s profile, a BIG thank you to BGT for getting the Island back on the map! This is still really the beginning… Derek is set to reveal this the full story behind his BGT journey on Thursday. “warts and all” Yeh Man!!! xx
