Hampshire Air Ambulance called to the Isle of Wight

The lifesaving Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance has been called to the Isle of Wight following a request from the Islands ambulance service.

The flying life-saving doctors and paramedic onboard the yellow and green helicopter flew over to the island just before 8.30am.

The EC35 lifesaving helicopter has landed at the Ventnor Rugby club are on the Island to assist Paramedics at an address.

The person has since been packaged and airlifted to Portsmouth hospital following a medical episode.
