Multiple incidents of criminal damage in Wokingham.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following multiple incidents of criminal damage in Wokingham.

The first incident took place at around 5.30pm on Wednesday (10/4) in which the victim, a 48-year-old man, had a stone thrown at his car by a group of youths as he was driving along London Road.

The second incident took place between 7.30am and 8.30pm on Wednesday (10/4). The victim, a 27-year-old man, returned to his car that was parked in Cockpit Path Car Park in Sturges Road to find that a stone had been thrown at the rear window causing significant damage.

The third incident took place at around 9pm on Wednesday (10/4) in Denmark Street. The victims, a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, were approached by a group of youths who threw eggs at them, before running away.

The fourth incident took place at around 9.15pm on Wednesday (10/4) in which the victim, a 39-year-old woman had eggs thrown at her car by a group of youths as she was driving along Norreys Avenue.

The fifth incident took place at around 10.30pm on Wednesday (10/4) in Outfield Crescent in which a group of youths were seen throwing items such as traffic cones into the road.

Investigating officer, PCSO James Leggett, based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “At this stage we are keeping an open mind however these offences could be linked.

“We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed any of these incidents to please come forward.

“We would also urge that people check any dash-cam footage in case it may have captured what happened.
