The Hampshire and Isle of Wight air ambulance has been called to assist in dealing with a seriously ill patient in Winchester this afternoon.
The yellow and green life saving helicopter landed in a field at the rear of the Carol centre in Somerset Close in Winchester just before 3pm on Monday.
The lifesaving doctor and paramedic onboard have been seen making their way towards the nearby shops on the estate.

A land ambulance and a rapid response paramedic has also been called to the incident involving a man in his 40’s at the premier store on Wavell Way in Stanmore.
An officer from Hampshire Constablary has also been called to the Carol centre.
The man has been loaded into the land ambulance and both the air ambulance paramedic and doctor have travelled with the sick man to hospital.
