A real-life superhero dubbed the ‘Wight Knight’ on ITV’s This Morning has been unmasked as a former Sainsbury’s security guard.
The masked crusader made his TV debut last week on the sofa with Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.
He told TV’s golden couple how he patrols the Island’s streets looking for good deeds to perform and reports any crimes he discovers – but insists he is not a vigilante.

Philip struggled to keep a straight face when he heard the costumed superhero has been branded a ‘Poundland Power Ranger’.
Speculation was rife on social media afterwards as to the unnamed Wight Knight’s identity.
It can now be revealed that he is 26-year-old father-of-one Conor Alabaster, a former Sainsbury’s security guard from Wroxall.
Speaking exclusively to UK News in Pictures, Mr Alabaster said: “I think I am going to have a bit of a rest. I want to continue keeping the streets safe of the Isle of Wight when I get the chance. When asked if he wore the costume as a PR stunt he refused to be pressed on it. Connor went on to say that he hasn’t been out on any patrols since his tv appearance.”
