Man Pulled from Water by Coastguard Rescue Teams in Sandown Isle of Wight

A man as been pulled from the freezing sea in Sandown and left in the care of Paramedics following the dramatic rescue in the early hours on the Isle of Wight. Two Coastguard search and rescue teams from Bembridge and Ventnor were scrambled along with other emergency services and the Sandown lifeboat to Culver Parade just after 3.30am.
Coastguard officers entered the rescue the man before handing him over to the Police. It is unclear if the man has been injured.
