Officers from Hampshire Constabulary are appealing for help to identify a man who was found walking in Highfield Lane, Southampton, but has no recollection of who he is and how he got there.

The man has been taken to hospital but does not appear to be injured in any way. However, he does have an old three-inch scar to the left hand side of his forehead.

He was found at around 8.36am on Sunday, 30 September, wearing a white dressing gown and dark blue slippers from the Sainsbury’s ‘Tu’ brand. He was carrying a book.

The man is around six foot tall, of medium build and has short, white receding hair. He has a local accent and was wearing Ted Baker glasses.
