Portsmouth Mcdonalds on Lock Down as Emergency Service called

A fast food restaurant in the centre of Portsmouth is on lockdown after emergency service have been called to it this evening. Mcdonalds in Commercial Rd in Portsmouth has been closed with Officers from Hampshire Constabulary remaining outside.


Two patrol vehicles remain. Fire crews from Southsea also attended. Three Police officers remain on the premises. It is understood that a worker has been hurt after a suspected acid attack. The worker has been treated by paramedics at the scene after chemicals were sprayed by a group of teenagers who carried out the wicked attack and ran off.
