Motorcyclist named in Fatal A249 Collision

A motorcyclist in his 30s who died when his Yamaha motorcycle collided with a grey Renault people carrier on the Sittingbourne-bound carriageway of the A249 around 6:25am on Thursday morning has been named by locally as “Joe Gibbo”, who worked as a scaffolder. Collision Scene investigator from Kent Police spent most of Thursday examining the scene. Officers are appealing for witnesses following a fatal incident on the A249 Detling Hill.

Kent Police was called at 6.25am on Thursday 13 September 2018 after a red Yamaha motorcycle and a grey Renault people carrier collided on the Sittingbourne bound carriageway.
