Police have sealed off the Prezzo restaurant in High Street, Salisbury, following a ‘medical incident’ involving a man and a woman
Emergency services are at the scene including officers wearing white full-body hazmat suits – are reportedly at the scene. Witnesses have described police ‘covering someone up with a blanket’.
People inside the Old Ale House pub have been told they can’t leave the pub until the area has been declared safe.
A spokesman for Wiltshire Police have said “Officers were called by partners from South Western ambulance service to Prezzo, High Street, Salisbury, at around 6.45pm on Sunday(16 September). The call came in following a medical emergency involving a couple – a man and a woman.
The restaurant as a precautionary measure and surrounding roads have been cordoned off while officers attend the scene and establish the circumstances surrounding what has led them to fall ill.

A large amount of emergency service remains in the area an ambulance and a fire engine and six police cars along with other specialist equipment are at the scene.
