More shocking details have been revealed following the chemical attack that took place on Sunday evening in Portsmouth against a Mcdonalds worker named as Alex. Mcdonalds was placed on lockdown by Police after a popular worker at the burger restaurant was sprayed in the face with a chemical. He was rushed to QA hospital to be treated. Scores of emergency services were called to the incident that was first thought to have been an acid attack just after 7 pm on Sunday evening.

Police have yet to arrest anyone for the incident but have confirmed they have launched an investigation. Officers have confirmed that the chemical used was, in fact, CS spray, not acid despite claims made on social media by those involved posting to Snapchat and Instagram. The trio is said to have left the Commercial Road store laughing whilst the worker cried out as his eyes and face burned unable to see.
