Officers from Hampshire Constabulary have this afternoon released the name of the man who died in Brockenhurst.
Police were called to Brookley Road on the afternoon of Monday, 20 August to reports of a man in need of medical assistance at an address on Brookley Road. He subsequently died at the scene.
He was Xiu Bin Wang, 33, a Chinese national who was living at the China Chef, Brookley Road, Brockenhurst.
The post mortem examination concluded he died as a result of a head injury.
Investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the death.
Officers are in ongoing contact with the Chinese Embassy.
A 34-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder and released on bail pending further enquiries until 17 September.
