Police motorcyclist taken to hospital after crashing whilst on training course in Kent

A police motorcyclist on a training course was taken to hospital after hitting a car on the A259 Dymchurch Road in St Mary’s Bay in Kent at around 5:17pm Saturday. The car is believed to have been turning out of Seaway Road when the pair here involved in a collision. The bike ended up in a ditch. The motorcyclist is understood to have been travelling at speed on a training exercise. Soldiers close by helped the officer until an ambulance arrived.
Kent Roads Policing closed the road for about 4 hours whilst an investigation was carried out. Injuries of the rider are currently unknown.
