Police have chased ram-raiders who made off in an Audi RS4 after a cash machine was ripped out of and stolen from the Co-op at The Parade in Istead Rise near Gravesend. The ram raid is understood to have taken place at around 12:30am this morning (Monday May 14th) The car was pursued by police was lost in Essex “due to speeds involved”.
Officers from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are appealing for witnesses after a cash machine was stolen from a supermarket in Gravesend.
The burglary was reported to Kent Police at 12.30am on Tuesday 15 May 2018 after a black Land Rover Discovery was driven through the front of the shop in Istead Rise, Gravesend.
Four men were then reported to have stolen the cash machine from inside the shop before it was put into another vehicle, which was waiting nearby.
Officers attended and a vehicle was pursued into Essex. The Land Rover Discovery was left at the scene and officers are carrying out enquiries to locate the other vehicle. At this time no arrests have been made.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information which may assist the investigation.
