WightFibre has announced that it has become the first company on the Isle of Wight to become a member of The Institute of Customer Service.
Recognition of WightFibre’s commitment and rigor across all aspects of customer service and another example of WightFibre’s commitment to provide its customers the highest standards of customer service, further reflected in its ‘because we care’ ethos.
John Irvine, CEO at WightFibre, has commented:
“WightFibre already achieves exceptional levels of customer satisfaction as evidenced by our Trustpilot scores which consistently exceed 9/10. But we don’t want to rest on our laurels so membership of The Institute is a great step forward for us”.
Simon Poole, WightFibre Operations Director comments:
“Different organisations approach customer care in very different ways. At WightFibre, because we care, we wanted to adopt a proven structure and framework for providing the best possible customer service, something that Institute membership provides. As a member we also have the opportunity to share experiences and the challenges of delivering exceptional levels of customer care with other like-minded businesses – to deliver a consistent service based on best practice principles that will support our current and significant future growth in customer numbers. Something that is very important to both us and our customers as we roll-out Gigabit Island.”
Aside from The Institute of Customer Service membership this commitment to customer care from WightFibre is already reflected in an independent TrustPilot Score of 9.5 out of 10, with 82% of WightFibre customers seeing the service provided as ‘Excellent’.
WightFibre’s full-fibre, future proof broadband network will provide speeds of up to 1Gb (1,000Mb) or faster to over 50,000 homes and businesses across the island, including areas of the island not previously served by WightFibre. This will create the UK’s first ‘Gigabit Island’. With pilot areas recently announced and the full rollout of the new Gigabit Island broadband network commencing during the summer, this new network will provide full-fibre broadband to homes and businesses using fibre optic cabling all the way from the exchange into the home.
Customers interested in receiving the new gigabit broadband services can register their interest at www.wightfibre.com/gigabitisland.
