Police in Southwark are renewing appeals for information on missing man Phil Nicol who may be on the Isle of Wight

Police and the family of Mr Nicol, 47, are growing increasingly concerned for his welfare. He was last seen by his partner on Thursday, 1 March, at their home address in Peckham. He has not made contact with friends or family members since then.

CCTV footage enquiries have established that Mr Nicol visited the O2 Centre in Finchley Road, NW3 on Saturday, 3 March.

He then boarded a number 13 bus at 09:50hrs, getting off at the junction of Fortune Green Lane and Finchley Road.

He was wearing was a red waterproof outdoor jacket with grey shoulders, and blue jeans. He was also carrying a dark-coloured rucksack.

Officers from Southwark’s Missing Persons Unit are continuing to follow up lines of enquiry, and are requesting the public’s help by appealing to anybody who might have seen Mr Nicol in the last two weeks to contact police right away.

Anyone who may have seen Mr Nicol is asked to contact Southwark Police via 101, or call or text the charity Missing People on 116 000, quoting 18MIS008696.
