Police would like to speak to this man in connection with a burglary that took place in Cosham.
Between 4pm and 4.30pm on Wednesday, November 9, a man called at a flat in Medina Road and told the occupant, an 80-year-old man, that he was from the water board and needed to check the water pressure.

As he spoke to the victim another man is believed to have entered the flat and stole £360.

The two men then left the property and walked off together towards Cow Lane.

One of the men was described as white with a strong Northern Irish accent, aged around 30 years-old, 5ft 8ins tall, of medium build and with an oval face. He was described as clean shaven with dark brown curly hair, and wearing a blue denim jacket and possibly jeans.

Another man was described as white with a southern English accent, aged around 40-50 years, thick set, with greying swept back hair. He was described as wearing a zip-up long-sleeved fawn woolly jacket.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who recognises the man in the E-Fit.

Detective Constable Emily Dummer said: “In addition, we would also like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or saw two men matching the descriptions acting suspiciously in the area at this time.”
