Family Paid Tribute to Gosport Man Killed in A32 Fareham Crash

The family of 25 year-old Daniel Mark Thomas Stone from Gosport have paid an emotional tribute to him after he sadly died following a collision involving the motorbike he was riding and the central reservation on the A32 in Fareham shortly after 8am yesterday morning (March 11).

Parents Phil and Michelle said: “Daniel, affectionately referred to as ‘Daniel son’ by his family, is lovingly missed by us; , and his brothers and sisters; Paris, Kial, Harry, Bluebell, Jimmy and Fred.
Fareham,Hampshire Friday 11th March 2016 A Man has sadly died this morning following a collision near Fareham involving a Asda Lorry and a Motorbike. Police have closed the A32 in both directions after a fatal road Collison this morning near Fareham Traffic is backing up in both directions whilst Police and other emergency service deal with the incident near to the Hoeford Bus Garage  on the Gosport Road in Fareham Officers from the Hampshire Roads Policing are currently dealing with a serious road traffic collision on the A32 Gosport Road, Fareham involving a Motorbike and a lorry. Sadly, The motorcyclist has died at the scene. The road is closed and will be for some time as we investigate the exact circumstances of the collision. Officers at the scene have a advised that the road is likely to be closed until lunchtime at the earliest. Two crews from the South Coast Ambulance Service, as well as a team of medics from the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance, in a car, travelled to the scene in a bid to save the man. However Despite receiving treatment at the scene from paramedics, sadly the male motorcyclist died having suffered serious injuries. ‘The road is currently closed and will be for some time as we investigate the exact circumstances of this incident.
